EYE TECH CARE develops and markets medical devices for the non-invasive treatment of eye diseases

Saving eyesight, our most important mission

Use the therapeutic ultrasound technique to fight this chronic eye disease and strive to save the sight of millions of glaucoma patients around the world.
Make ‘focused ultrasound treatment’ an essential step in the management of glaucoma by offering a non-invasive alternative to current treatment options for controlling the intraocular pressure.
Every member of our team works hard to fulfil this goal.

Our objective

EyeOP1 is the result of many years of joint research between EYE TECH CARE and INSERM (French National Institut of Health and Scientific Research), which led to the innovative use of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) for the treatment of glaucoma patients.
The UCP treatment, which refers to cyclo plasty of the ciliary body, is a simple and fast non-invasive procedure.
Our goal is to make the UCP treatment available for the greatest possible number of glaucoma patients whose previous treatment did not stop the progression of the disease which is seriously threatening their vision.

Company resulting from research

EYE TECH CARE, based in Lyon, France, was founded in 2008 by experts in the field of therapeutic ultrasound, in partnership with INSERM (National Institute of Health and Medical Research)

A remarkable invention

EYE TECH CARE has received numerous awards from major economic & scientific institutions and organizations:

Frost and Sullivan award 2016

Beyond all these encouraging awards and recognitions, EYE TECH CARE is most proud to be able to offer an innovative therapeutic solution.
Glaucoma is one of the diseases with no cure in ophthalmology. The number of patients is constantly increasing. EyeOP1 has been added to the existing approaches to reduce the intraocular pressure, such as filtering surgery or implants by providing all the benefits of a non-invasive procedure.
After treating thousands of patients in the world, EYE TECH CARE can now present the UCP procedure as a focused, adaptable and proven non-invasive treatment for glaucoma.
